License Holder Search

Once you have your license, TALCB rules allow you to request Inactive status for the license. This may be useful if your career changes direction and you wish to keep your license but not actively perform appraisals for a period of time.

To request inactive status for your current license, you must:

If you are an Appraiser Trainee, the Addition or Termination of Appraiser Trainee Supervision form must be signed by the Appraiser Trainee or the supervising Certified Appraiser. If you have more than one supervisor, a form and fee is required for each supervisor being removed.

Once TALCB grants a request for inactive status, your current license will not be valid until you request Active status. PLEASE NOTE: Placing your license on inactive status does not relieve you of the responsibility of meeting your renewal deadlines.
