Steps to place your license on Inactive Status

The Addition or Termination of Appraiser Trainee Supervision form must be signed by either the Appraiser Trainee or the supervising Certified Appraiser. If you have more than one supervisor, a form and fee is required for each supervisor being removed.

Once TALCB grants a request for inactive status, your current license will not be valid until you request Active status. PLEASE NOTE: Placing your license on inactive status does not relieve you of the responsibility of meeting your renewal deadlines.

For more information about Inactive, Active status and renewals, see TALCB’s rules.
