Exam Topic Reports for Appraisers
TALCB administers licensing examinations for licensed residential appraiser, certified residential appraiser and certified general appraiser applicants through a contract with Pearson Vue. Each quarter, Pearson Vue publishes reports on the success rates for exam questions grouped by topic. Education providers and students may find this information helpful in identifying topics where success rate is lower and focusing increased attention to these areas.

Appraiser Trainee/Supervisory Appraiser Courses
Appraiser trainee applicants must complete an approved Appraiser Trainee/Supervisory Appraiser (ATSA) course as part of their qualifying education requirements. After an appraiser trainee authorization has been issued, a trainee must complete an approved ATSA course every four years, in addition to ACE required for every two-year renewal term.
