Applicants must submit fingerprints to apply for or renew a license.
As of January 1, 2017, any person applying for or renewing a license with TALCB must provide fingerprints for a criminal history check. The fingerprint process is easy and can be done in a few short steps.
Once fingerprints are on file with TALCB or TREC, a license holder will no not need to submit fingerprints for any future renewals .Fingerprints you may have submitted for any other reason, such as previous employment or another state-issued license, are not acceptable for a TALCB license.
