License Holder Search

The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB) is pleased to announce the launch of the TALCB complaint portal. This simple-to-use tool allows consumers to file complaints directly on the TALCB website.  It also allows consumers to check the status of their complaints online.  In addition, it integrates backend efficiencies for staff, which decreases complaint processing times.  The complaint portal is located on the Filing a Complaint page of the TALCB website.

The complaint portal was funded by the Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) Grant received by TALCB in early 2021. The ASC awarded TALCB $120,000 for three years to improve the state’s appraiser regulatory program.  In future grant years, TALCB plans to develop an interactive application portal, including an interactive experience log. The log will allow applicants to track their experience in real-time. These portals will automate document processing and decrease clerical reviews, ultimately reducing turnaround times.

TALCB was established to safeguard consumers in matters of real property appraisal services. This new complaint portal is another way the agency continues to improve its mission and serve consumers. For more on TALCB, please go to www.talcb.texas.gov.
