The Texas Appraiser Licensing & Certification Board (TALCB) is pleased to welcome John H. Eichelberger, III as a new member, and the reappointment of Rolando Castro. Both were confirmed by the Texas Senate on April 26, 2023. Texas Governor Greg Abbott appointed them with terms set to expire on January 31, 2029. 

Rolando Castro

of Cypress, Texas is a director at Cushman & Wakefield, a real estate company. He is also an MAI-designated member of the Appraisal Institute.

Castro received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Texas A&M University.

He serves TALCB as an appraiser member.

John H. Eichelberger, III

is a partner at Schwartz, Page & Harding, LLP, a Houston, Texas law firm. He serves on the Board of Directors of Urban Reform. 

Eichelberger received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics from George Mason University and a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law.

He serves TALCB as a public member.

The next TALCB meeting will be Friday, May 19 at 9 a.m. in Austin, Texas.

Outgoing Board Member

TALCB thanks Clayton Black for his dedicated service to the citizens of Texas as a member of the Board since 2013. His latest term expired in April.
