AUSTIN, TX - The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board is pleased to announce the appointment of David Mentesana, of Dallas, as a new member of the Appraisal Management Company Advisory Committee. Mr. Mentesana replacing Tony Pistilli, and his term will expire on January 31, 2020.

Mr. Mentesana is the Vice President of Operations and Client Development for MyAMC, LLC.   With over 20 years working in the appraisal industry, Mr. Mentesana has a wide range of experience, including roles as Senior Vice President of LandSafe Appraisal, SVP of Bank of America and VP with ServiceLink Valuation.  Mr. Mentesana is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Texas, Virginia, and Georgia, as well as a licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas.  He also holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University. He enjoys spending time with his wife Regina and three children, Matthew, Katie and Emily.  

The AMC Advisory Committee was established by the legislature to advise the Board and make recommendations on matters related to the regulation of appraisal management companies. The committee includes two members designated as controlling persons of an AMC and two members of the public, plus the Vice Chair of the Board, who chairs the committee. 

The Board thanks Mr. Mentesana and all the members of the committee for their willingness to serve. The AMC Advisory Committee continues to be a vital part of the Board, and the Board welcomes Mr. Mentesana's experience and expertise to the committee.
