License Holder Search

As of September 8, 2020 TALCB began copying any appraiser that supervises an appraiser trainee on correspondence sent to the trainee from TALCB on enforcement-related matters (including complaints) and licensing matters related to deficiencies with an application, education evaluations, experience evaluations, and whether required experience has been met.

TALCB will begin copying supervisors on other licensing-related correspondence sent to trainees over the next two to three weeks. This includes correspondence with the trainee regarding:

  • authorization to take the licensing exam;
  • payment of the National Registry fee;
  • approval of trainee license;
  • trainee renewal notices,
  • a trainee expire notice; and
  • approval of an upgrade license

This administrative change was initiated by the TALCB Enforcement Committee as a means to greatly improve the three-pronged relationship between TALCB, appraiser trainees and their supervisors.  Supervisors who are responsible for the professional development of their trainees will now be aware of when the agency is communicating with their trainees and have a much better understanding of the purpose of those communications.
