As a Licensed Residential Appraiser, you must renew your license every two years. A renewal notice will be sent about 90 days before your expiration date. Education and Examination Services
Appraiser trainee applicants must complete an approved Appraiser Trainee/Supervisory Appraiser (ATSA) course as part of their qualifying education requirements. After an appraiser trainee authorization has been issued, a trainee must complete an approved ATSA course every four years, in addition to ACE required for every two-year renewal term.
Courses that are currently approved by TALCB will expire on the date originally assigned; however, to continue offering approved courses after September 1, 2019, an ACE provider must submit an application for approval as an ACE provider prior to September 1, 2019.
